B.O.A.T.

Boating is an expensive hobby, especially when a storm blows through and wrecks havoc. The carnage pictured was courtesy of Tropical Storm Ernesto from September 2006. Ten years earlier, the double whammy of Hurricanes Bertha and Fran destroyed the marina completely. The Sugar3 is in the rubber dinghy calling out helpful suggestions such as, "Hey man, your boat sank."

I think your B.O.A.T section is great so far. I am glad to see the picture of the "carnage". I know it isn't nice to say that, but my boat (which you cannot see) is right behind these two, and was left unscathed. This actually was very nice because Hurricane Isabel did a bit of a job.

Yep, there's nothing like watching your boat on a buoy in a storm: bow submerged, stern submerged, repeat until bilge pump burns out.

No hurricanes in northern Illinois/southern Wisconsin, but the storms are a bitch here too (although at least sugar3 didn't come up here to harass us!)

You down play my part in the adventure. I also explained how the big hole in the bow effected the seaworthiness of the vessel.

~T-roll cause of the big scones. I know, I shouldn't crumpet about it.

PS: Nice blog you brewed up.

Hi girboat captain and rebecca,

Thanks for visiting CrackedPot's blog. Keep your fingers crossed that none of us or our vessels suffer a similar fate, or the SugarCubed will pay a visit to point out the obvious.
